Then we would be happy to visit you for a closet sale at your home. Together, we'll review your collection and discuss which items are suitable for sale. We then handle the entire sales process, from authentication and photography to customer contact and shipping.

During a Closet Sale, we'll review your collection together. Not just to sell as much as possible, but to discover which pieces deserve a second life. Many people know exactly which bag they want to buy, but find it difficult to decide which pieces they can let go of. That's precisely why it's valuable to look at a collection together. Often, there are items that are hardly worn anymore, yet are still highly sought after in the resale market.
A Closet Sale helps to create clarity. Not only in your collection, but also in the possibilities. Which pieces represent the most value today? Which items no longer suit your current style? And which designer pieces deserve a new owner? By looking at the collection together, a completely different picture often emerges than when you assess each item individually.
Sell your designer collection
step 1. Share your collection with us
Please complete the form below and tell us more about the designer items you wish to sell. Upon receipt, we will contact you and ask you to share some photos of your collection via WhatsApp. The more information and photos you share with us, the better we can assess whether your collection is suitable for sale through PreLoved Pieces.
Based on the information and photos, we will determine if your collection aligns with PreLoved Pieces. If there's a match, we will schedule a personal appointment immediately.
Step 2. Personal advice at home
During the appointment, we will review your collection together and advise which items are interesting for sale, discussing sales prices and commission. After agreement, we will conclude a consignment agreement and take the items for sale.
Step 3. Inspection & Authentication
Upon receipt, we carefully inspect and authenticate your bag.
Good to know:
If the item fails authentication, we will return it insured or you can pick it up at the showroom. The costs for this are for the customer.
Step 4. Sales & Payout
Once an item from your collection is sold, the money will be in your account within 2 working days, after the cooling-off period.

Frequently asked questions
A Closet Sale is a personal service where we review your designer collection together and determine which items are suitable for sale. We then handle the entire sales process for you.
For most items, we work with a consignment fee of 25%. For exceptional pieces or high-value collections, different terms can be discussed.
With consignment, you sell your designer items through PreLoved Pieces, while the items remain your property until they are sold. This allows you to benefit from our network, expertise, and community of designer lovers, without having to manage the sales process yourself. Once an item from your collection has been sold, you will receive the money in your account within 2 working days after the cooling-off period. For online sales, a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days applies to the buyer.
